With Simplifile, you can begin eRecording today.  You probably already have the hardware and software you need, so follow these steps to begin:

Simplifile Specifications
> step 1 Check hardware and software specifications.
Hardware Minimum Preferred
Personal Computer   800 MHz processor / 256 MB RAM   2 GHz Processor / 512 MB RAM

Video Card   64 MB RAM   256 MB RAM
Monitor   17” / low resolution   19”–21” / high resolution
Scanner  

TWAIN-compatible desktop scanner or network scanner

  300 DPI; sheet fed (ADF)
Internet Connectivity Minimum Preferred
High-speed Connection Broadband   T1 or greater
Software
Microsoft Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or better (~25 MB)
Sun Java Plug-in 1.5.0 or better (8 MB)
If you are concerned about any of the above requirements or if you do not have all the necessary equipment, contact your Simplifile Account Executive directly or call Simplifile at 800.460.5657. 
 
> step 2 Download software from the Simplifile website and configure administrator and user accounts.
> step 3 You are now ready to submit.  Simply scan your first document, review the document image, and send it to the county.  The county will receive, review, reject or accept (and stamp), return, and record your document within a matter of minutes.

It’s that simple!  You can administer Simplifile preferences and monitor the recording process using Simplifile administration tools.
