New Collaboration and Post Closing FeaturesLoan template updates prevent fees from being overwritten and causing confusion.
Lenders are now restricted from applying a template to a loan of a different type. This prevents fees being overwritten by changing the current loan to a different type with different fees. For example, you won’t be able to change a Refinance loan to a Purchase loan. This change counters mistakes and confusion.
Certain fields are no longer required for setting up Loan Estimate fees.
To save you time and reduce data entry, we’ve made the “Paid by,” “Paid to,” and “When” fields not required when creating a fee on a Loan Estimate. You may not have that information available when creating the loan plus these fields aren’t required by MISMO standards. The fee type and amount are still required when adding a fee to the Closing Disclosure.
More Improvements and Fixes
This update also includes interface improvements and bug fixes. For example, “Multi-select” is working again in the document viewer, e-check numbers now always display in reports, and the search page can be refreshed without losing your search keywords.
