New Collaboration and Post Closing Features
Organizations can now choose to use Post Closing stand alone.
Post Closing is a unique service we offer that allows lenders to follow the status of the loan as it’s sent for e-recording and receive all final documents electronically.
In the past, Post Closing has been closely tied to our pre-closing Collaboration service. However, we’ve had many requests to offer Post Closing as a standalone service. We’re happy to say with this release that is now a reality!
Contact your Simplifile representative or call 800.460.5657 to begin using Simplifile Post Closing.
Select third party name from drop down on disclosures.
To save time and prevent rekeying, you can now reuse third party entity names from the loan by selecting them from a drop down on Disclosures.
Import multiple loans at once.
We’ve added the ability to create multiple loans at once. Once your account has been set up, you’ll see a new Batch Import option on the Create Loan screen.
Once selected, you’ll be able to select your .CSV file with the loan information. You’ll be notified once the import has completed.
You’ll also find a new Batch Import report available in Loan Reports for more information.
New E-recording Submitter Features
Admins can change default file name format.
Previously, downloading recorded documents retained the original file name. Since some systems require specific naming conventions, administrators now have the ability to change the default document file name.
When an admin downloads a package, they’ll now see the option Click here to change the default document file name… That will launch options for file naming format that you can select and rearrange.
Once saved, your selections will be the default format going forward.
More Doc Viewer options visible at reduced screen sizes.
Previously, when using Doc Viewer at a smaller screen resolution or window size, the menu options would collapse into one of three dropdown categories. This added extra clicks. We’ve updated the look of the buttons in Doc Viewer and made them stack more dynamically when viewing in a smaller window.

Finally, at a much smaller size, you will see the three dropdown options as before:
Banking Export Report can now include the first submission date.
The Banking Export Report has always had the option to display the final submission date of a package, which is important if a package has been submitted multiple times. You now also have the option to show the first submission date of the package in the report as well. This helps track compliance with ALTA Best Practices for submitting for recording no later than two business days after closing.
